 The NOTHINGBUTBOOKS library is growing slowly; we now have more than 260 members. If you haven't already done so, please register and help build a really useful service. Don't forget to list your books :o)
You will find no ads or pop-ups on this site. I intend to maintain it as a free service, i.e. no cost to members for using the site, and no cost to me, other than my time. The site comprises a mixture of 'Open Source' software/templates and my own coding.
Outline:
The purpose of this web site is to provide contact details to and for members who wish to exchange books with each other. Anyone in the UK can join - request a book from the library and that book will be sent to you free of charge - keep it or put it back in the library when you've finished with it.
How it works:
Each library member must list at least 6 books to become an active library member. Once you are an active member, each book you list entitles you to request one book. The more books you list, the more you can request.
Control is in the form of a credit & feedback system. When a member lists a book they are awarded 1 credit, 1 credit allows them to request 1 book from the library. Listing the book commits them to sending that book to another member when asked to. Please read the Site Rules before registering.
Feedback:
The feedback system allows members to comment on their experience of other members - positive and negative feedback levels allow all members to form their own opinion regarding an individual member's credibility.
So, if you like the sound of this idea, try it out for yourself - you must register before listing or requesting a book.
